Pastor Jose Luis Rentería was born in Dallas, Texas, in 1964. He is the son of retired pastors Oziel and Sandra Rentería. Pastor Rentería is a fourth generation preacher, his great-grandfather, grandfather, father, and now him. He is the second son of five children (two have gone with the Lord). He has been married to Elizabeth Renteria for 20 years and they are parents to Elizabeth (19) and Joseph (13).
Pastor Rentería has been a missionary to Spain, Equatorial Guinea, Chile, and other countries (short and long term). He has an A.A. from L.C.C. in Computer Operations, a B.S., Jimmy Swaggart Bible College, post graduate studies (History) and Texas teacher certification, Texas A & M International University, and an M.A. in Theological Studies, Liberty University.
Elizabeth Renteria was born in Laredo, Texas, in 1967. She is the daughter of Enrique and Oralia (deceased) Nora. She has a B.S. in Biology, Oral Roberts University, post graduate studies (education) and Texas teacher certification from TAMIU, and an M.S. in Educational Administration, TAMIU. She is the principal of Emmanuel Christian Academy a ministry of Iglesia Cristiana Emmanuel.
Elizabeth was born on March 1, 1994, in Laredo, Texas. She is a graduate of Emmanuel Christian Academy. Class of 2012. She is a freshmen at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, where she is working on a B.S. in Biology w/ Biochemistry minor.
Joseph was born on October 11, 1999, in Laredo, Texas. He is an 9th grade A Honor roll student at Emmanuel Christian Academy. He is an active volunteer in Childrens Church and is a volunteer for the Sunday (9am) worship service in the media department. He is an active Boy Scout with Troop 201, 4-H Shotgun Club,and a member of USTA (tennis league). His hobbies are playing tennis, shooting, and camping.
